    • Open the guide you wish to translate in your browser.

    • You'll find a five or six digit number in the URL - it's "152974" in the example shown in the picture.

    • Copy this number, and open another tab. Then fill in this information in the URL field: www.ifixit.com/api/2.0/guides/NUMBERCODE?type=xml

    • The copied number code of the guide you want to translate should be pasted between the last backslash and the question mark where you see “NUMBERCODE”.

    • This way, you will get this URL: www.ifixit.com/api/2.0/guides/152974?type=xml

    • Hit ENTER to open the XML file in your browser. You will obtain a view like in the picture here.

    • Save the file in the folder you intend to save all files of your CAT tool project.
