[* black] The last step is to crop your picture to a 4:3 aspect ratio. The guides will not accept any images of a different ratio.
[* black] A key to cropping photos is to make sure that the subject of the photo is large enough, while also not so large that it overpowers the picture area. For example, the first picture is cropped too tightly as many edges contain very little white space.
[* black] Make sure you crop evenly around the focus of the picture to avoid awkward photos like the second image.
- [* icon_note] Note that, sometimes, cropping the picture to center the focus may sometimes require more than putting the object in the middle of the crop. For example, if most of the "action" in a picture occurs on one side of photo area, you will want to shift the center of the crop towards the "action" side.
