Notifications allow you to receive and review real-time notifications as they occur on the site.

@mentions
When users mention another user's handle (username) in a comment, they receive a notification with a link to view that comment.
User Success
"User success" is recorded when a user successfully completes a guide without Data Capture. If a user has authoring privileges on a site, they receive notifications when any user successfully completes any guides that they have authored.
Answers
When your Question Gets Answered
Users receive a notification when another user answers a question the wrote.
Answer Accepted
Users receive a notification if the author of the question you answered accepts the answer.
Comments on Questions/ Answers
Users receive a notification if anyone comments on their questions or their answers.
Guides
Guide Completed
When someone completes a guide you’ve written, you’ll receive 30 reputation points and a notification.
Comment on Guide
Users who are subscribed to a guide will receive a notification if another user leaves a comment.
Badges
When the site recognized you’ve earned a badge, you’ll receive a notification. If you’d like to collect them intentionally, head over to the Badges page to start choosing your next goal!
